Credit cards are accepted on the boat for Thailand / Burma trips only, although cash is appreciated for drinks, tips, and other fees. The boat accepts US dollars or Thai baht. Your bill is calculated at the end of the trip and the Tour Leader will tell you the amount. Nitrox is charged at $5.00 US per fill, and that can be paid for at the end of the trip.

MV Ocean Rover Itineraries

MV Ocean Rover offers trips all year round.

During the high season of 2007, you can choose from 7-day/8-night, 8/9, 9/10 and 12-day/13-night trips in Thailand and Burma , which means plenty of time to explore all the great dive sites Similan & Surin Marine Parks and Burma 's Mergui Archipelago have to offer.

At the beginning and end of the high season there are also a 7-day/8-night and a 8-day/9-night trip available to explore the dive sites of Southern Thailand, from Phuket and Phi Phi Islands down to Koh Rok Nok taking in the world class Hin Daeng and Hin Muang .

January to March 2008 offer three trips to the Andaman Islands , of 9-days/10-nights, or 11-days/12-nights duration; for those wishing to go somewhere really remote and unexplored this is a perfect opportunity.

These are all great destinations. Itineraries are for general information and are approximate only.

9 Days / 10 Nights: Similan – Burma ( Mergui Archipelago)
Day of Departure:	The trips depart from Chalong Bay in Phuket. Departure time is at 20:00hrs, boarding possible from 18:30 onwards.	No diving
Days 1 - 8	A typical cruise covers 700 nautical miles. MV Ocean Rover starts at the Similan Islands and from there heads north to Richelieu Rock , possibly with dives at Koh Bon or Koh Tachai . Next she heads for the Myanmar border. Guests clear immigration in Kawthaung ( Victoria Point ) in the early evening. An official representative from the Tourism Ministry joins the boat here. The next few days are spent exploring the Mergui Archipelago , with dives at Western Rocky , Fan forest Pinnacle , 3-Islets , possibly Black Rock and, weather permitting, the Burma Banks . Eventually MV Ocean Rover makes her way back to Kawthoung , where she checks out of Myanmar . Usually there is time for a brief shore visit before heading back into Thai waters. The final days of the cruise are spent working southwards, back to Phuket. Dives at Richelieu Rock , Koh Tachai , Koh Bon and the Similan Islands ...	32/36 dives
Return day	Depending on the location on the final day diving finishes around midday or early afternoon. Ocean Rover returns to Chalong Bay , Phuket late that evening. Passengers disembark the next morning at 07:00hrs. (Longer itineraries will spend more time at the better sites).	2/3 dives

8 Days / 9 Nights: Southern Thailand
Day of Departure:	Departure is from the Chalong Bay Tourist Pier, Phuket at 20:00hrs.	No diving
Days 1 - 7	MV Ocean Rover visits the Surin Islands first. Heading south from there she then dives Richelieu Rock , Koh Tachai , Koh Bon and the Similan Islands . Next she makes a long overnight passage to the area well south of Phuket. She dives Hin Daeng and Hin Muang and anchor overnight at Koh Rok Nok , where night diving is possible as well. The cruise finishes off with a selection of dive sites around Koh Ha , Pi-Pi Islands , Shark Point and the King Cruiser Wreck .	32/36 dives
Return day	MV Ocean Rover returns to Chalong Bay , Phuket in the evening of the last day. Passengers sleep on-board and disembark the next morning at approx. 07:00hrs. (Shorter itineraries will spend less time at certain dive sites).	2/3 dives

Day of Departure:	Guest's arrival and boarding during afternoon. Port Formalities. Night time crossing to Little Andaman island.	No diving
