The dive deck:
MV South Siam 3 has a large dive platform, it consists of a very wide and spacious kitting-up area and a separate entry/exit platform with 2-exit ladders and 2-fresh water showers to rinse yourself or your equipment after the dives. You will also find 2 large buckets with fresh water for rinsing cameras, dive computers and torches.
MV South Siam 3 has an excellent air station with 3-compressors and the tanks are all refilled in the racks without removing your gear. Once the equipment has been put together on the first day, one can relax for the entire trip as the tanks will be refilled again and again by the friendly staff onboard.
For divers without their own dive computers, Suunto Dive Computers are available for rent on the boat. This is optional, but it is strongly recommended to rent one of these for your own safety. The dive staff will explain very thoroughly how these work before the diving begins.

The dive crew:
The experienced staff onboard are all professional multilingual PADI Divemasters & Instructors and most worked several seasons here around the area of the Similan Islands – Koh Bon. We recommend that you dive with one of the onboard dive staff, since they know all the points of interest and how to navigate the dive sites to ensure the best dive profile. There is always a dive guide available for you, but if you are an experienced diver and just want to have a dive site briefing, then you and your buddy can go on your own but you will of course have to follow some simple diving rules and instructions given by the dive staff, to ensure your safety.
